QUARTERplus - QUality Assessment for pRotein inTrinsic disordEr pRedictions

QUARTERplus webserver provides accurate intrinsic disorder predictions using a novel meta-model that are accompanied by interpretable quality assessment (QA) scores. QA scores quantify the quality of the associated disorder predictions for each amino acid in the input sequence. They reflect Matthews correlation coefficient metric that ranges between - 1 and 1. High positive QA values denote high likelihood that the associated disorder prediction is accurate. QA scores at around 0 suggest that the disorder prediction is uncertain. High negative values suggest high likelihood that the disorder prediction is flipped.

Please follow the four steps below to make assessment:

1. Select a predictor to collect its disorder prediction and corresponding QA Scores:

Please enter only 1 sequence per run

Produces disorder prediction and QA scores for:

  • QUARTERplus Meta Predictor
  • SPOT Disorder
  • Disopred3
  • IUPRED-short
           Multi Sequence Mode

Please enter upto 50 sequence per run

Produces disorder prediction and QA scores for selected predictor:

2. Provide protein sequence(s)

Please enter FASTA formatted protein sequence(s) (see Help section for details of input format).

3. Provide your email address (optional)

Please enter your email address in the following text area. A link to results of assessment will be sent to your email address once they are ready. The results will be also available in the browser window.

4. Predict

Click the Run button to launch QUARTERplus.

Help

The format of each input protein is as follows:
  • Line 1: >protein ID
  • Line 2: protein sequence (one-letter amino acid encoding)

The protein sequence from Line 1 to Line 2 should be formatted in the FASTA format.

Materials

Explanation of TRAINING and TEST datasets
  • Line 1: >protein ID
  • Line 2: protein sequence (1-letter amino acid encoding)
  • Line 3: disorder annotations where 1 denotes diosrdered residues and 0 denotes ordered residues
